Getting to Pulai Desaru Beach from Singapore

By using Causeway
If you are coming from the Woodlands Causeway, after passing the Malaysian Immigration and Customs, look and take the Tebrau road and follow the sign to Ulu Tiram town, Kota Tinggi and Desaru. Follow the Tebrau road through its many traffic lights heading towards Ulu Tiram and Kota Tinggi (Route No. 3). Do not turn left or right, just keep going 12 o' clock at all traffic junctions. Once you are out of Johor Bahru city, the traffic will be much less. Continue to head towards Ulu Tiram, Kota Tinggi and Mersing (Route No 3). You will pass through Ulu Tiram town. After 15 minutes pass Ulu Tiram town, when you get to the junction with traffic light that points left for Kota Tinggi, ignore that sign and head towards Desaru and Mersing (bypass Kota Tinggi town). You will pass through the bridge after that traffic light and when you get to the second traffic light junction further up the road, follow the sign to Desaru (Route No. 90) which is a right turn. Distance between that traffic light junction to Desaru is approximately about 56 KM. After the right turn, follow the road sign to Desaru and Sungai Rengit. The land mark to look is the Petronas petrol Station on the left hand side and once you found it take left turn and head towards Desaru. From Petronas petrol station to The Pulai Desaru Beach is approximately 7 KM

By using second Link bridge
If you are coming from the Second Link at Tuas, enter the Highway and head North towards Kulai town. There should be only one turn to the left. Follow the Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kulai signs until you get to the exit for Kulai. After paying the toll drive straight till you reach the second traffic light and T-junction. Turn right and head towards Kulai Town. You are on Route 3. When you reach town (about 10 minutes) turn left when you see the Kota Tinggi and Mersing Sign. There should be a KFC outlet on your right at this junction. Follow this road (Route 90) all the way till you get to the sign that points left for Kota Tinggi, ignore that sign and head towards Desaru and Mersing (bypass Kota Tinggi town). From Petronas petrol station to The Pulai Desaru Beach is approximately 7 KM.

By using ferry
Another alternative and hassle free traveling is via the ferry link from Changi (Singapore)-Tg. Belungkor (Johor) route. At the moment, only passenger-ferry is available and if the situation warrants, a vehicle-ferry will be introduced. A new ferry operator has been awarded the ferry services of Tg-Belungkor-Changi Ferry route to commence from 15 May 2002 onwards.

Getting There From North & South Highway
From Kulai Exit, drive straight from the toll until you find the second traffic light, turn right there and drive on straight until you pass the Kulai Town. At the 6th traffic lights (located in front of Merry Brown/KFC Fast Food Restaurant), turn left and proceed straight on the new road till you find the T junction. . Follow this road (Route 90) all the way till you get to the sign that points left for Kota Tinggi, ignore that sign and head towards Desaru and Mersing (bypass Kota Tinggi town). From Petronas petrol station to Pulai Desaru Beach is approximately 7 KM.

From Pasir Gudang & Kota Tinggi Exit, after paying your toll at Senai and another one at Kempas, proceed straight till you see the Pasir Gudang & Kota Tinggi Exit. Drive on along the Pasir Gudang Highway till you see Carrefour Billboard. Stick to your left and till you see Kota Tinggi/Desaru signboard exit and follow that direction and keep left until you see traffic light. Turn left and follow as above instructions as from Using second link
